ESL Office Contracts
Contracts is a contract administration application for medical stop-loss and group term-life policies. Accounts sold in Underwriting transfer all terms, rates, and factors directly into Contracts. This application is
integrated with the Contact Management application, which stores information about producers, administrators, offices, underwriters.
- Repository of all policy terms including rates and terms for Premium and Claims Administration
- Track and follow-up on outstanding items required for policy issue
- Issue application and policy documents through a Microsoft Word interface
- Maintain a Journal of notes for use through-out all MGU Office applications
- Scan documents and attach them directly to the policy to be viewed through-out all MGU Office applications
The Contracts application understands insurance terms like contract types and number of months in contract, including their effect on incurred and paid dates, annualized premium, and the aggregate attachment point. Contracts integrates with Treaties to default acquisition expenses, standard maximum reimbursements, and excess layers.
Medical Excess Loss Contracts
- Collect policy terms and rates on the following coverage:

- Define multiple Schedules for different rates and terms by date or entity on the same contract year.
- Query policies by treaty, carrier, producer, administrator, underwriter, effective dates, premium, etc. for complete control of the policies viewed or reported.
- Print bound business bordereaux, policy summaries, In-force to manual reports, policy term reports, outstanding item lists, and other reports.
Group Term Life Contracts
- Collect policy terms and rates on the following coverage:
- Life
- AD&D
- Dependent
- Supplemental Life
- Collect acquisition expense, i.e. commissions, carrier fee, premium tax, etc., sub-producer fees
- Collect terms on an unlimited number of Life class schedules
- Query policies by treaty, carrier, producer, administrator, underwriter, effective dates, premium, etc. for complete control of the policies viewed or reported
- Print bound business bordereaux, policy summaries, and outstanding item lists, and other reports
